Octane Test Engine-MON ASTM D2700 Octane Rating Operation

Octane test engine SINPAR FTC-M runs octane rating at the standard operating conditions, performing to ASTM D2700 MON test procedures. The sample fuel knock intensity is compared to that of one or two PRF blends. The octane number of the PRF blend that matches the knock intensity of the sample fuel establishes the Motor Octane Number.
